India, Aug. 12 -- Maharashtra FDA suspends license of four Domino's outlets and one Sapphire Foods outlet after inspections flag lapses in food storage, hygiene, pest control and safety records
Five major chain outlets face action
The Maharashtra Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has suspended the business licences of four Domino's Pizza outlets and one Sapphire Foods India outlet following inspections that uncovered multiple food safety and hygiene violations.
The action was taken during a special inspection drive conducted between July 10 and August 11, 2026, the FDA said in a press release.
Four of the suspended outlets are operated by Jubilant FoodWorks and are located at:
