Mumbai/IBNS, March 24 -- Dhurandhar 2, starring Ranveer Singh, has stormed past the Rs.500 crore mark in just five days since its theatrical release, according to Sacnilk.

The sequel got off to a strong start, earning approximately Rs.43 crore through paid previews on Wednesday, followed by a massive opening on March 19.

In the film, Ranveer Singh's character is seen taking control of Pakistan's Lyari town following the death of gangster Rehman Dakait, portrayed by Akshaye Khanna.

Packed with high-octane action, the Aditya Dhar directorial features R. Madhavan as strategic mastermind Ajay Sanyal, Arjun Rampal as ISI Major Iqbal, and Sanjay Dutt as SP Chaudhary Aslam.
