India, March 13 -- Dementia as a major public health issue appears to be receiving growing attention in Australia during the early months of 2026.
Recent news reports suggest that dementia has emerged as the leading cause of death in the country.
An analytical report published in a prominent UK newspaper on March 11, 2026, highlighted data from the Australian Institute of Health and Welfare and the Australian Bureau of Statistics.
