New Delhi/IBNS, July 20 -- Delhi Police and paramilitary personnel on Monday resorted to a lathicharge to disperse protesters gathered for the Cockroach Janta Party (CJP)'s "Chalo Sansad" march as the anti-government agitation over the alleged NEET paper leak and other education-related issues intensified.

Authorities had erected multiple layers of barricades around the protest site and deployed heavy security personnel to prevent the march from proceeding towards the Parliament complex.
