New Delhi/IBNS, July 25 -- Delhi Police has identified more than 2,500 suspected criminals in and around Jantar Mantar over the past three days using technology-driven surveillance, as authorities step up security amid the ongoing nationwide protests over the alleged NEET-UG 2026 paper leak.

The inputs have prompted security agencies to intensify monitoring around the demonstration venue.

Police said the suspects were identified through AI-assisted surveillance systems, including facial recognition and video analytics deployed at and around Jantar Mantar.
