Delhi Police dismiss viral passport cancellation claim linked to CJP protesters
New Delhi/IBNS, July 24 -- The Delhi Police on Friday dismissed viral reports claiming that authorities had decided to cancel the passports of people allegedly involved in violence during the Cockroach Janata Party's (CJP) protest at Jantar Mantar, describing the information as "misleading".
In an official post on X, the Delhi Police stated that no decision had been taken regarding the cancellation of passports of CJP protesters and urged the public not to circulate unverified information.
