Delhi building collapse near Saket Metro: 12 rescued, two critically injured
India, May 31 -- A five-storey commercial building near the Saket Metro station in south Delhi collapsed on Saturday evening, triggering a massive rescue operation and leaving at least 12 people rescued, including two who suffered critical injuries.
The structure, located on Western Marg in the Saidulajab area, was reduced to a huge mound of rubble, with broken concrete slabs, twisted metal and shattered pillars scattered across the site.
Officials said a multi-agency search operation was continuing amid fears that more people could be trapped under the debris.
