India, Aug. 11 -- Danny Boyle's Rupert Murdoch-focused feature film 'Ink' will be released in select movie theatres in the US in December before making its streaming debut on Netflix.

The film, which adapts James Graham's Tony Award-winning play of the same name, will hit select US theatres on December 11 and begin streaming on Netflix from January 8 in the US and Latin America.

Confirming the release, Netflix wrote on X: "INK, from Academy Award-winning director Danny Boyle, is coming to select theaters December 11 and on Netflix January 8 in the US and Latin America. Starring Jack O'Connell, Guy Pearce, and Claire Foy."

Netflix also unveiled the film's first look, featuring Oscar nominee Guy Pearce as media mogul Rupert Murdoch.
