Kolkata/IBNS, Oct. 16 -- Bollywood actor Rajkummar Rao and former Indian cricket team captain Sourav Ganguly will visit the very same Kolkata pandals Ganguly has frequented since childhood on Mahashtami ahead of the film's release.

Rajkummar is playing Ganguly in the latter's upcoming biopic, Dada: The Sourav Ganguly Story.

As Durga Puja celebrations are beginning across Kolkata, the team of Dada is set to initiate its first major public outing in Kolkata on the day of Mahashtami.

Ganguly and Rajkummar will be seen together in public for the first time since the film was announced, joining the festive gatherings in the city.

Rajkummar will travel to Kolkata on Monday to join the Mahashtami celebrations.
