India, Aug. 12 -- Portuguese football superstar Cristiano Ronaldo has married his longtime partner, Georgina Rodriguez, in a private ceremony in Portugal, media reports said.

Ronaldo shared an image on his Instagram page showing two hands, believed to be his and Rodriguez's, with wedding rings visible.

According to reports, the couple tied the knot in a civil ceremony in Cascais on August 11, with their five children in attendance.

The Instagram post quickly went viral, seemingly ending years of speculation surrounding the couple's marriage.
