India, April 17 -- Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) has suspended employee Nida Khan, who is accused in a case involving alleged forced religious conversion and sexual harassment at its Nashik unit.

Khan, who joined the company in December 2021 as a process associate, was placed under suspension last week after the firm cited a "serious matter" against her.

Suspension letter cites 'serious matter'

According to a suspension letter dated April 9, accessed by NDTV, the company said it had been informed of allegations against Khan, who is currently in judicial or police custody.

Signed by HR head Shekhar Kamble, the communication also said Khan's access to company systems had been temporarily revoked.
