Cockroach Janta Party seeks police permission for Kolkata rally as nationwide protest campaign gathers pace
Kolkata/IBNS, July 23 -- The Cockroach Janta Party (CJP), whose ongoing agitation has drawn attention at Delhi's Jantar Mantar, is now preparing to expand its protest campaign to other cities across India, and Kolkata could become the next venue, with the organisation seeking permission from the city police to hold a march on Friday.
According to Kolkata Police sources, an email requesting permission for the proposed rally has been received and is under consideration.
