India, July 28 -- The Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) on Tuesday threatened to relaunch its nationwide agitation, alleging that a Supreme Court order allowing investigations into existing FIRs could be "weaponised" to harass peaceful protesters despite the Centre's assurances that no action would be taken against them.

The warning comes just days after the CJP called off its month-long protests following the resignation of former Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan and an agreement with the government.
