India, July 26 -- The Cockroach Janata Party (CJP) called off its over-a-month-long protest on Saturday, just hours after Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan resigned over the NEET paper leak controversy and the Centre accepted several of the outfit's key demands.

However, the satirical outfit has now come under scrutiny after a video surfaced online showing its spokespersons avoiding questions from journalists on whether they would launch similar protests over alleged examination irregularities in non-BJP-ruled states such as Punjab.
