China dominate men's and mixed events; India, Indonesia remain on top after Asia Cup Bridge 7th round
Panaji, June 23 -- China, which has emerged as one of the powerhouses of Asian bridge, dominated the proceedings as they led the field in men and mixed categories, at the end of the seventh round of the 5th Asia Cup Bridge Championship at Taj Cidade Horizon here Tuesday.
Meanwhile, Indian seniors moved to the top in their section after the seventh round. They had slipped behind after round three.
Indian Men "A" and "B" teams also did well to be in 3rd and 4th place after the seventh round.
In the men's group at the end of the 7th round, China buttressed their lead, amassing a total of 101.14 Victory Points (VPs).
