India, June 7 -- At least 12 people were shot during a community event in the U.S. state of Ohio on Saturday, in what police say appears to be a chaotic exchange of gunfire near a popular festival area.

According to the Toledo Police Department, 10 victims are in stable condition while two remain in critical condition. Officers responded at around 5:37 p.m. to reports of a shooting near Delaware Avenue and Glenwood Avenue, close to the Old West End Festival.
