India, July 24 -- The Narendra Modi-led NDA government has ruled out the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, with top government sources telling NDTV that his exit is "not on the cards" despite mounting pressure from the Cockroach Janta Party (CJP), which has made his removal the central demand of its ongoing protest over the NEET paper leak.
Student protesters, camping at Delhi's Jantar Mantar under the banner of the CJP, have maintained that the agitation will continue until the 57-year-old minister steps down.
