India, Sept. 21 -- Saint-Pierre-et-Miquelon, France: Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney met French President Emmanuel Macron on the French archipelago of Saint-Pierre-et-Miquelon on Sunday, in the latest step toward deepening ties between Ottawa and Paris.

They also discussed the prospects of a future alliance between Canada and the European Union aimed at reinforcing collective resilience through shared values and strategic capabilities.
