Ottawa, March 13 -- Canada has announced more than $37.7 million in humanitarian assistance for Lebanon as civilians face growing hardship amid escalating hostilities between Israel and Hezbollah linked to the wider regional conflict involving Iran.

Foreign Affairs Minister Anita Anand and Secretary of State for International Development Randeep Sarai said the funding will provide urgent relief, including food, shelter, medical care and clean water for communities affected by the fighting.
