Ottawa, June 25 -- Canada has invited 4,000 skilled workers to apply for permanent residence through its latest Express Entry draw, as the federal government continues efforts to address labour shortages and support economic growth through immigration.

According to Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC), the invitations were issued under the Canadian Experience Class (CEC) category, targeting candidates with recent Canadian work experience.

The draw is part of Canada's broader immigration strategy aimed at attracting skilled workers who can contribute to key sectors of the economy and help meet workforce demands across the country.
