India, July 1 -- A Bumble date turned into a nightmare for a 28-year-old woman after she discovered that her intimate videos had been uploaded online without her consent.

The private-sector employee alleged that explicit videos of her were uploaded to adult websites and shared on social media years after she went on a date with a man she met through the dating app.

The Bengaluru resident met the accused on Bumble in 2022. After chatting on the app, the two exchanged their social media profiles and later decided to meet at the man's residence.

The woman claimed that after the encounter, the man stopped responding to her messages and eventually blocked her across all platforms.
