India, Sept. 21 -- A British woman has quit her high-flying legal career to become a full-time dog walker, an unconventional career move that she says has helped her earn more while working fewer hours.

Liz East, 30, spent four years working as a paralegal in criminal defence before briefly moving into consulting, People reported, citing Kennedy News and Media.

East, who once dreamed of becoming a criminal defence lawyer, said she changed her career plans after finding the demanding schedule increasingly difficult to manage.

"I did everything from admin to going to court and going to prisons and chatting with clients," she said.
