India, July 28 -- An Indian passenger has alleged that he was forced to travel in Economy despite holding a confirmed Business Class ticket on an Etihad Airways flight from Abu Dhabi to New Delhi after being informed at the boarding gate that the aircraft had been changed and no longer had a Business Class cabin.

Sharing his experience on X, Dr. Virender Sheorain said he and several other passengers booked on Etihad flight EY218 from Abu Dhabi to New Delhi on July 25 were informed at the boarding gate that the scheduled aircraft had been replaced with another that did not have a Business Class cabin.
