Big reveal: Indian drone hit Pakistan's Kirana Hills after running out of fuel during Op Sindoor
India, Aug. 25 -- An Indian loitering munition did strike Pakistan's Kirana Hills during Operation Sindoor last year, but the target was not the nuclear-linked military facility, former Chief of Defence Staff General Anil Chauhan has said.
Speaking at the Vivekananda Centre in New Delhi, General Chauhan explained that the strike occurred after the drone, which was likely an Israeli-designed Harop loitering munition, ran out of fuel while searching for Pakistani radars around Sargodha.
He said the Indian military had deployed several loitering munitions against targets in and around Sargodha and Kirana Hills before the strikes.
