Kolkata/IBNS, Aug. 12 -- Zee 5 has unveiled its latest Bangla content slate, titled 'Notun Banglar, Notun Golpo' (New Bengal. New Stories.), bringing together returning franchises, fresh originals and new storytelling formats across movies, series, live sports, AI-powered content, animation and kids' entertainment.

The platform has announced the return of several popular Bangla franchises, including Lalbazaar 2, featuring Anirban Bhattacharya and directed by Shayantan Ghoshal; Shwetkali 2, starring Oindrila Sen and Surangana Banerjee and directed by Sani Ghosh Roy; Shikarpur 2, directed by Nirjhar and starring Ankush; and Kaalipotka 2, directed by Abhirup Ghosh and featuring Swastika, Shruti, Sheya and Himika.
