India, June 13 -- India's Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) has successfully demonstrated a series of critical technologies that significantly strengthen the country's defence capabilities against a wide range of aerial and maritime threats.

In a major milestone, DRDO conducted three consecutive flight tests on June 10, 11 and 12, 2026, showcasing India's multi-layered defence capabilities against long-range ballistic missiles as well as its anti-ship strike capability at medium range.

The flight tests successfully validated the country's Multi-Layered Ballistic Missile Defence (BMD) system, with the interceptors accurately engaging and neutralising their designated targets.
