India, March 23 -- The organisers of Shakira's upcoming concert in India have postponed the event amid ongoing tensions in the Middle East.

She was scheduled to perform in India in April, with shows planned in Mumbai on April 10 and in Delhi on April 15.

In a post shared on the District Updates Instagram handle, organisers said, "Due to the prevailing geopolitical situation and regional tensions, the Feeding India Concert featuring Shakira has been postponed until further notice."

It further noted, "We're working with the artist team to find a new date and will share updates as soon as we have them. Feeding India Concert has always stood for something greater - and that commitment remains unchanged."
