Bangladeshi Hindu monk Chinmoy Krishna Das breaks down emotionally as he gets 5-hour parole to attend mother's funeral
Dhaka/IBNS, Sept. 11 -- Bangladeshi Hindu monk Chinmoy Krishna Das, who has been in jail for nearly two years, was released on five-hour parole to attend his mother's funeral, media reports said.
In an emotional video circulated online, Das was seen crying and touching the feet of a Radha-Krishna idol at Pundarik Dham Temple in Chattogram before returning to jail.
Sandhya Rani Dhar died with her wish to meet her jailed son unfulfilled after Bangladeshi authorities initially denied his family's plea seeking parole, reports said.
