India, Aug. 10 -- A homicide investigation in regional New South Wales took an unusual turn after forensic tests revealed that what was initially reported as a female body inside a roadside suitcase was actually a highly realistic sex doll.

The discovery was made on Sunday by two men along a quiet road near Oallen, a small village located approximately 230 kilometers southwest of Sydney in the Hume Police District near Goulburn.

Believing they had uncovered human remains, members of the public alerted authorities.

Officers from the Hume Police District arrived at the scene and secured the bag, noting that the contents appeared to resemble the body of a female.
