Mumbai/IBNS, Oct. 1 -- Bollywood legend Amitabh Bachchan has revealed that he suffered a knee injury after slipping and falling during the shoot of his popular quiz show Kaun Banega Crorepati 18, media reports said.

Bachchan, 83, began the latest episode of the show seated instead of making his trademark energetic entry followed by a standing opening monologue.

Explaining the change, the veteran actor told the audience that he had injured his knee during the previous day's shoot.

The actor pointed towards his left knee while revealing how he sustained the injury, leaving the studio audience concerned about his health.

However, Bachchan quickly reassured them that the injury was not serious.
