India, April 14 -- An employee of Amazon died at a warehouse in Troutdale, Oregon, recently, with co-workers alleging that operations continued for some time even after the incident occurred.

The employee collapsed on April 6 on the second level of the facility, according to a report by The Western Edge. A company spokesperson confirmed the death to TechCrunch but did not disclose the cause.

Despite news of the death spreading within the facility, some workers claimed that operations were not immediately halted.

"Just turn around and not look. Let's get back to work," one employee was quoted as saying by  The Western Edge, recalling instructions allegedly given by a manager.

The cause of death remains unclear.
