Mumbai/IBNS, Nov. 4 -- Bollywood star Alia Bhatt turned heads at the grand premiere of Ramayana: Part 1 in Mumbai, making a striking fashion statement in a sea-green saree as she extended her support to husband Ranbir Kapoor's magnum opus.

Alia arrived at the event with her mother-in-law, veteran actor Neetu Kapoor.

The two shared warm moments, posed for photographs and appeared to exchange jokes as they walked the red carpet.

Ranbir arrived later for the screening of the film, in which he essays the role of Lord Ram.

Alia wore the Gumal linen saree by designer label Anavila. The sea-green ensemble featured a contrasting blue border with intricate zari detailing.
