India, June 3 -- Mumbai-based stand-up comedian Yash Bhardwaj has claimed he spent 47 days in detention in Dubai before being deported to India over a comedy video posted on social media that authorities allegedly viewed as a national security concern.

Bhardwaj, who returned to India on May 5, shared details of the incident through a series of posts on Instagram, describing the experience as one of the most challenging periods of his life.
