Kolkata/IBNS, Aug. 28 -- Director Srijit Mukherji on Thursday launched the trailer and music of his latest movie Winkle Twinkle at the Jadavpur University Open Air Theatre here.

The event was attended by lead cast Ritwick Chakraborty, Angana Roy, Anashua Majumdar apart from the members of the music team.

Based on Bratya Basu's stage play, Winkle Twinkle's plot follows a man, Sabyasachi Sen, played by Ritwick, a revolutionary activist of 1976, who suddenly disappears from the face of the earth.

Coming back in 2002, he sees his own son supporting ideologies his own father fought again.

The film explores themes of generational dynamics, political upheaval and ideological differences.
