16-year-old becomes world's youngest male chartered accountant, sets Guinness record
India, Aug. 17 -- At an age when most teenagers are still deciding what they want to do in the future, Lakshmanan Meyyappan had already earned a professional accounting qualification and made his mark in the world of finance.
Meyyappan has been recognised by Guinness World Records as the world's youngest male Chartered Accountant, achieving the feat in Dubai at the age of 16 years and 141 days.
Journey began during COVID-19 lockdown
Meyyappan's interest in accounting developed during the COVID-19 pandemic, shortly after he completed his Class 10 board examinations.
