India, Aug. 4 -- An India-flagged cargo vessel sank in the Red Sea off Yemen's western coast after it was struck by an explosives-laden boat, with all 14 crew members, including 13 Indian sailors, rescued in a joint operation by Yemeni forces.

The vessel, MSV Faize Noore Oliya, overturned and went down around 13 nautical miles south of the Houthi-controlled port city of Hodeidah following the attack.

All of them were brought to safety by the coast guard and naval units and have received medical assistance.
