Mumbai/IBNS, March 21 -- Celebrated filmmaker S. S. Rajamouli has lauded Aditya Dhar for Dhurandhar: The Revenge, which has stormed the box office.

In a detailed post on X, Rajamouli said the sequel surpassed the first part in both "scale and soul," while praising Dhar's "guts" in keeping audiences engaged through a four-hour-long film.

The sequel, starring Ranveer Singh, earned around Rs 43 crore through paid previews on Wednesday, followed by a massive opening on Thursday.

According to reports, the film has grossed over Rs 200 crore within the first two days of its release, amplifying the success of its predecessor Dhurandhar, also directed by Dhar.
