India, Sept. 23 -- Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian accused the US and Israel of attacking Iranian civilians, while insisting Tehran would not surrender to pressure or military force.

Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian delivered a defiant address at the United Nations General Assembly on Wednesday, accusing the United States and Israel of carrying out attacks against Iran and declaring that his country had been the "victim of terrorism."

His speech came a day after US President Donald Trump used the same UN platform to defend Washington's military campaign against Iran and warned that he could "annihilate" the Islamic Republic if a deal was not reached.
