Kolkata/IBNS, July 25 -- Supporters of the Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) in Kolkata on Friday joined the growing nationwide protests over the alleged NEET-UG 2026 paper leak, demanding the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan despite Prime Minister Narendra Modi's recent assurance of strict action against those responsible.

Backed by several Left-affiliated organisations, including the Students' Federation of India (SFI), hundreds of protesters-mostly students-marched in Kolkata, saying they had lost faith in the Centre's response to the controversy.
