Kolkata/IBNS, Aug. 12 -- The second edition of the Thai Film Festival was held in Kolkata last week, bringing Thai cinema and culture to local audiences through a three-day programme featuring seven films.

Hosted at Cinepolis, Acropolis Mall, the festival offered free screenings across genres including romance, comedy and drama. The event has also kept free registration open for audiences.

Royal Thai Consul General Siriporn Tantipanyathep said the festival offers an opportunity for audiences to explore Thailand through its films.
