Kolkata/IBNS, April 7 -- Bollywood actor and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MP Kangana Ranaut on Tuesday visited Kalighat Temple to offer prayers.

Ranaut is in the poll-bound state as a star campaigner for the BJP, which is aiming to unseat the Trinamool Congress.

When will Bengal polls be held?

Assembly elections in West Bengal will be held in two phases on April 23 and 29.

The BJP is aiming to end the 15-year rule of the Trinamool Congress and assume power in the state, where it has never governed.
