'More than problematic': US Senator Lindsey Graham questions Pakistan's role as mediator in Iran-US peace talks
Writing on X, May 27 -- US Senator and close Donald Trump ally Lindsey Graham has questioned Pakistan's role as a potential mediator in efforts to broker peace between Iran and the United States, describing the South Asian nation as "more than problematic".
"It has been apparent to me for quite a while that Pakistan as a mediator is more than problematic. Their animosity towards Israel is longstanding."
He further claimed: "It is undeniable that Iranian military aircraft are being housed on Pakistani air bases and past rhetoric from the highest Pakistani officials against Israel is disturbing."
