India, July 24 -- Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday night assured students that more action would be taken against those involved in paper leak cases, as protests led by the satirical Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) continued at Delhi's Jantar Mantar.

In a video message posted on X, the Prime Minister acknowledged the distress caused by paper leaks and said the government had already taken several measures over the past two-and-a-half months.

The statement came hours after the Delhi High Court announced the creation of a fast-track court to hear paper leak-related cases.
