Nagpur/IBNS, June 16 -- A woman married to an Indian Air Force (IAF) personnel has accused a former classmate and his associates of rape, blackmail, extortion, black magic and forced religious conversion in a case that has triggered a major police investigation in Nagpur.

Police have arrested two accused, identified as Ayaaz Madare and Ameen Shaikh, while search operations are underway to trace a cleric allegedly linked to the alleged conversion ritual.

Authorities have also launched a forensic examination of electronic evidence collected during the investigation.

According to the First Information Report (FIR), the 24-year-old complainant alleged that Ayaaz Madare spiked her drink during a meeting at a hotel on February 8, 2025.
