'If not now, when!': Sonam Wangchuk backs Cockroach Janta Party protest; spokespersons named ahead of founder Abhijeet Dipke's India return
New Delhi/IBNS, June 4 -- The Cockroach Janta Party (CJP), the satirical online movement that has drawn attention for its unconventional political messaging, is preparing to take its campaign to the streets with a planned protest at Jantar Mantar in New Delhi on June 6.
Ahead of the demonstration, key organisers have intensified preparations in the national capital.
CJP founder Abhijeet Dipke is scheduled to arrive in Delhi on June 6, following which members of the group will visit the local police station to complete formalities and seek permission for the protest.
The movement has also received a boost with the support of climate activist Sonam Wangchuk, whose association has lent greater visibility to the campaign.
