Kolkata/IBNS, Aug. 13 -- Bollywood actor Sunny Deol and filmmaker Rajkumar Santoshi visited Kolkata to promote their upcoming period action drama Batwara 1947, which is scheduled to release on August 14.

Set against the backdrop of the Partition of India, the film explores the lives of people caught in the aftermath of one of the most painful chapters in the country's history.

He compared the process to AI, saying that everything eventually gets absorbed before he brings it out on set, where he focuses on keeping his performance as real as possible.
