'I'm ready to be humiliated': Vijay, Udhayanidhi Stalin clash in Tamil Nadu Assembly over Cauvery dispute
Chennai/IBNS, Aug. 7 -- Tamil Nadu Chief Minister C. Joseph Vijay and Leader of Opposition Udhayanidhi Stalin engaged in a heated exchange in the state Assembly on Friday over the long-standing Cauvery river dispute, particularly Karnataka's proposed Mekedatu dam project, media reports said.
The two leaders traded barbs as Stalin questioned the state government's approach to preventing the construction of the dam, while Vijay defended his administration's handling of the issue.
Raising the issue in the Assembly, Stalin accused the government of not doing enough to stop the Mekedatu dam project.
