New Delhi/IBNS, July 23 -- The Supreme Court on Thursday said it would intervene if the Supreme Court Metro Station was not reopened, after lawyers and court staff complained of severe commuting difficulties caused by the closure of several metro stations amid the ongoing NEET protests in the national capital, media reports said.

CJI assures action if station remains shut

Chief Justice of India Surya Kant said the court would step in if the situation was not resolved by lunchtime.

The assurance came after Supreme Court Bar Association (SCBA) president Vikas Singh raised the issue before the court, highlighting the inconvenience faced by lawyers and court staff.
