Mumbai/IBNS, Sept. 5 -- For an uninitiated viewer, Rasika Dugal's role in the Mirzapur series might appear less significant when looking at the cast list. However, the perception is starkly different for those familiar with the popular crime thriller.

In the Mirzapur series, Rasika plays Beena Tripathi, wife of Kaleen Bhaiya (Pankaj Tripathi). Her character is much more than a supporting wife and gradually emerges as one of the franchise's most important and unpredictable power players.

With Mirzapur: The Movie now released, Rasika looked back at some of Beena's qualities that have kept the character pivotal to the series, which has remained a favourite among OTT viewers.
