New Delhi/IBNS, July 15 -- A petition has been filed in the Delhi High Court seeking urgent medical intervention, including force-feeding of climate activist Sonam Wangchuk, amid growing concerns over his health as his indefinite hunger strike entered its 18th day on Wednesday, media reports said.

Plea seeks immediate hospitalisation

Activist lawyer Rakesh Kumar Saini moved the High Court, seeking directions to the Centre and the Delhi government to shift Wangchuk to a state-run hospital, citing a sharp deterioration in his health during the ongoing protest at Jantar Mantar in the national capital.
